Keeping this in mind, it is a great support given back to the environment by the Infineon Raceway in Northern California. The company Panasonic is very much committed and enthusiastic about this project to develop this sustainable, state of the art solar panel installation on the speedy NASCAR circuit. Panasonic has a contract to make provision of the industry leading solutions in the solar panels which are termed to be one of the best solar panels in the world in terms of cost efficiency as well as power conversion rate. The installation of the solar panels on an experimental basis project, although is a gamble for the Infineon circuit, it is worth an investment and one of the leading milestone in the maintenance of the NASCAR circuit. This is also a major milestone in the Raceway's Accelerating Sustainable Performance program. On top of that a solar panel company that has teamed up in this project proves to be an ideal partner in envisioning the sustainable future dreams on this race track. The race track has 350 kilowatt of the array of the solar panels. This constitutes of nearly about 1700 number of solar panel installations. The placement of solar panels is done very much strategically. To begin with, the placement is done in such a way that it is visible to the crowd which would come as an audience to witness the racing event of NASCAR. In this way, the people would be directly to indirectly influence by the use of solar powers and motivated for solar panel installations at their homes too. The efforts of the Infineon raceway are not limited to only this. In addition to the ones that are mentioned above, there are also the attempts and implementations made in order to fuel the cars on the race track with alternative sources of energy. This is truly seen upon by the world as a classic example of the green vision of the racing track in Northern California. Although the planning and implementation sounded dubious initially, the project has already been kick started with lots of motivation by the joint venture of the Panasonic Company with the racing track authorities. In the later stages, the implementations seemed much more feasible owing to the efforts inculcated by the workers on the track and also by the key personnel involved in the delivery of this innovative and sustainable green energy project.
